Sardor Ismailov, of Abingdon, Maryland, ran a red light, crashed into an SUV, multiple utility poles, and then into the boats.

Ismailov was not injured in the crash. The occupants in the SUV were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Per the Virginia State Police, Ismailov has been charged with failure to obey a highway sign.
