When I was in design school in the 90’s we got an assignment to go out 50 + years and predict the future of transportation. We justified the “outlandish” idea of designing vehicles for colonizing Mars by creating a 3D timeline highlighting this very fact. We knew industry execs would pummel us. After 25 years of working for OEMs it still the coolest vehicle I ever designed.
