The most INSANE things the City of Austin is spending money on:
$880,000 for “Undoing racism training”
$2.25 MILLION to help minority and women-owned businesses get city contracts
$6.6 million+ On deportation defense, lawyers and filing fees for migrants
An extra $1.2 MILLION to the Texas Harm Reduction Alliance, which hands out needles, glass pipes and cookers to drug addicts
$6.2 million+ for Austin’s DEI department
$58,000+ on a consultant to work on “preventing crime through environmental design”
$1 MILLION to redesign the Austin city logo (which everyone hated)
Roughly $485 MILLION on the homeless crisis since 2019.
Reminder, that MILLIONS have been cut from the Police Department, Fire Dept and EMS to make up for budget shortfalls…

AUSTIN JUST TOLD ON ITSELF.
Texas DPS arrested Austin City Council candidate Misael Ramos on Saturday morning on a misdemeanor riot participation charge. Troopers say he was on camera grabbing barricades and sandbags and trying to block traffic at a protest over the ICE shooting of Wilber Rafael Garces Perez.
Ramos is a Democratic Socialists of America member running for city council. His lawyer says he saw “chanting.” DPS has video.
This is the Democrat governing class in Texas cities. Not policy. Street theater against federal immigration officers, then a press conference outside the jail.
If this is who Austin wants writing city ordinances, Texas needs to wake up before November. 🇺🇸
Honestly! @RepCasar needs to be removed from office. He is using taxpayer money for immigrant services. He is not representing Texas. Vote @pena4ATX She has a history of working for Austin Residents and will continue.
There were 3 separates homicides in Austin the past 24 hours but you never hear a word about it from @KirkPWatson or City Council about the violence. You only hear about it from them when they can grandstand and gaslight you blaming republicans or Trump.

Austin residents are killed or attacked by repeat offenders EVERYDAY, but the only time our leaders care is if it’s an ILLEGAL who gets hurt.
A look at the performative officials who have made Austin increasingly unsafe:
-Congressman Greg Casar: (former ATX city council member) voted to defund the police by $150 million and get rid of 180 police positions. He is now crying about an illegal who got shot, meanwhile he has nothing to say when Austin residents are hurt or killed by the very policies he passed.
-DA Jose Garza: Back in 2020 criminally charged 21 APD officers for using non-lethal munitions to disperse unruly BLM crowds who were shutting down the interstate.
Instead of prosecuting the rioters, the DA went after police who were trying to protect residents (big reason why we see lawless protesters taking over the streets with minimal pushback, police literally cannot do their job without fear of the DA prosecuting them).
-City councilman Mike Seigel: DSA-aligned council member, who gave CBS news false information immediately after the shooting of Wilber Perez, stating that he was shot “five times through the windshield”.
The information was out for hours, continuing to stoke rising tensions and was later quietly deleted when it was found out to be false.
This city is a mess and it’s disgusting that our elected leaders care more about illegals, over the Austin residents who are unsafe everyday.
Two people killed in Austin overnight…one in East Austin, one in South Austin…less than an hour apart. Real neighbors. Real families.
Mayor Watson and Congressman Greg Casar were fast to the cameras when it fit their politics. Where’s the press conference now? 🦗🦗🦗
Wilco is watching. Public safety shouldn’t be a photo op.
I’m Theodore Schramm, running for Texas House District 136. I’ll keep pressing for leadership that shows up when our communities are hurting….not only when the cameras are friendly.
