🚨 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Governor Kotek Admits Failure, Begs Legislature to Repeal Her Signature Transportation Tax Package
Today, Gov. Kotek admitted what Republicans & hundreds of thousands of Oregonians knew all along: her Transportation Gas Tax & Fee package was rushed, flawed, & deeply unpopular.
Instead of letting voters decide in Nov 2026, she’s begging lawmakers to repeal her own signature bill to save face. Bottom line: she doesn’t want this failure next to her name on the general election ballot.
Repealing the ENTIRE bill goes way beyond the tax provisions we referred. It wipes out bipartisan trucking reforms, weight-mile parity fixes, tolling language updates that weren’t even in dispute, & hard fought accountability measures for ODOT.
This isn’t leadership—it’s political panic.
‘Hundreds of thousands signed because they opposed this tax hike & wanted a vote.’ We delivered. Now she wants to erase it?
We’ll keep fighting for accountability & better prioritization of existing funds
🚨 BREAKING: Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek has put Trump and the federal government “on notice” and vows to go after federal officers who “break the law.”
Shame on Kotek and Oregon AG Rayfield for this kind of rhetoric - it’s what led to two National Guard officers being shot today and why ICE assaults are up 700%!
Buckle up, folks. This is how Civil Wars start. The left’s definition of the law is NOT black and white and not rooted in reality. Pray for our country.
🚨JUST IN: Oregon Democrats just struck down a bill that would have required proof of citizenship to register to vote. The bill was sponsored by @RepYunker.
There are 15,245 homeless people in Multnomah County as of March 2025. About 7,159 of them were living outside. That is the population of a small city.
Oregon has spent BILLIONS of dollars. This is NOT a housing problem. This is an enablement problem. This is a “free” handout funded by your tax dollars problem. This is allowing people to just roam the streets and do whatever they want problem. This is an accountability problem. This is a no consequence for your actions problem.
Cut the handouts. When people are given everything for free and never held accountable, why would they go to work and better their lives?
Governor Kotek, I’m sure, has the back of the 46 Hondurans — “Oregon men” — arrested for trafficking enough drugs to kill the people of Portland twice.
🚨Oregonians deserve answers!🚨
Governor Tina Kotek keeps claiming progress on homelessness, but the numbers tell a different story.
Where is our money going? Taxpayers are investing millions– but where are the results?
Your job is to earn the trust of legal Oregonian voters, but instead, you are playing politics and refusing to hold trustworthy elections where legal voters can have confidence in the system. Republicans have asked for sensible policies, but your office refuses to make changes.
Oregon has the worst, most corrupt election system in the nation.
With Trump's recent EO, putting states on notice that run fraudulent elections, it is highly likely that Oregon's 2026 Midterm election will recieve a full audit from DOGE.
🚨 Big news, Oregon! SB210 is getting a public hearing this Monday! This bill would end mail-in voting, require voter ID, and ensure in-person voting on Election Day (with absentee options). It’s a huge step to restore trust in our elections—something we’ve all been waiting for!
The committee needs to hear from YOU. Please submit testimony in support. Click here to submit testimony or sign up to testify in person/remote: https://t.co/xnyCZ3csyz. Note: In-person and remote testimony requires pre-registration.
Let’s show them how much this matters to us—spread the word and act fast! us.
Of course, @GovTinaKotek is going to fight it. As the most repugnant governor Oregon has ever had, she doesn't want to have to face a legitimate election because she'll easily lose. Oregon has the most corrupt voting system in the country, and that's how she got installed.
As for you, @RonWyden, you weren't crying "authoritarian police state" when vaccination cards were mandatory in places, when people were fired for not getting the injections or refusing to wear a mask, or when Kate Brown told Oregon residents to call the police on each other in November of 2020. No, you happily and silently agreed. I seem to recall, too, when you questioned the Oregon election legitimacy in 2016 when Trump won the first time. You cited the machines as being compromised. How is it that you've done a 180? Convenient, huh?
Oregonians deserve our entire election process revamped to be FAIR and FREE of CORRUPTION. I 100% agree with Trump's EO except we must also have in person elections that are made the law. The EO does not go far enough when it comes to Oregon.
