This. Is what an apolitical call to service looks like. Inspire, don't demand.

Our military should not be mistaken for a cable new gabfest show. We don't care what you look like. We don't care who you voted for, who you worship, what you worship, who you love. "You people" nice. When Democrat president was in power, there were many things that went way beyond my belief I was required to adhere to.

But I have the ability to recognize this:

I feel strongly about views that other people feel strongly on the opposite position of it, and that's ok. It's ok because I remember we live in a democracy and when my opinions are shut down and im forced to do or watch something different, it's because more people think differently than I do.

So, I explain what my opinions are and why I think my way is right. But I don't shut down, I don't demonize, and must of all, I don't think others are any less American because they're opinion is different than mine.

We are all American. I understand you have different opinions, and I respect that. But I don't agree with that, and neither does a majority of Americans at this point in time.

P.S. I love America regardless of who's in power. But I find it harder to love people who call me a Nazi or racist.

I'm just going to say it, Jimmy Kimmel getting fired was absolutely the wrong decision.

Does what he falsely claimed make me angry? Absolutely.

Can a private employer fire someone over their speech? Generally, yes. 1st Amendment protects free speech by state and federal government.

Was it the right move to take a card out of the let's playbook and endorse cancel culture? Absolutely not.

I don't care how much the left uses it. Unless it incites imminent violence, let it be.

People should and must be responsible for their reactions to words - not responsible for how they speak. Thats how we end up with laws requiring they/them etiquette, starting every conversation with land acknowledgements, etc...

Using Cancel culture on Jimmy Kimmel was the wrong move.

The right answer would have been: ABC ask Jimmy Kimmel if he would correct his false statement. If he refused and they fired him for spreading false information - makes sense to me. That's a private employment decision and I wouldn't want a liar working for me.

Stop calling conservatives fascists. It causes violence in those with weaker mental capabilities.

Second, there is no replacement theory. No one thinks any race or culture is any better or worse than any other. Trump is deporting ANY illegal persons in the USA. And if getting and keeping out illegal persons from a country is fascist - then I've got a newsflash for you: Nearly every country in the world is fascist.
