When a corporate executive steals from shareholders, it makes national headlines.
When a government official steals from taxpayers, there are calls for investigations and reform.

When a CEO steals from shareholders, it's front-page news.
When a politician steals from taxpayers, there are investigations.
When union officials steal from workers? Too often, nobody notices.
In just the last few weeks:
• $65K stolen from postal workers
• $50K stolen from firefighters
• $17K stolen from a law enforcement union
Why is this tolerated?

The Chicago Teachers Union distributed curricula branding President Donald Trump as a “fascist."
It also cited the president’s job cuts and “Going after cities with Black Mayors” as examples..

🚨 Education policy failures and classroom violence are directly linked.
Florida data shows students identified with ‘disabilities’ exploding 380% from age 3 to age 10 (source linked in a prior post attached below) — most states' data is substantially similar‼️
Meanwhile, federal #ChildFind law requires schools to identify and support kids EARLY — not wait for them to fail and chaos ensues.
Yet districts routinely delay until behaviors spiral and kids are already disengaged.
Result? Unmet needs → academic frustration → disruption, defiance, and worse in classrooms nationwide.
Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz was identified at age 3 with an IEP, but systemic special education failures followed. Early intervention isn’t optional — it’s the law, and it’s a safety issue.
We must enforce existing federal laws with fidelity: strong Tier 1 instruction + real evidence-based early intervention = safer classrooms for EVERY child.
“The link between academic failure and delinquency, violence and crime is welded to reading failure.” ~ U.S. Department of Justice (1993)

State law requires teachers to pay 9% of their salaries into their pension fund.
But instead, 56% of Illinois public school districts use a hidden "pension pickup" to force taxpayers to cover the whole thing.
It’s a quiet perk driving up your property tax bill for a benefit you never agreed to (and likely can't afford).
The NEA collected $390 million in dues from nearly 3 million members — most pulled directly from taxpayer-funded paychecks before workers even saw it.
That's not a union.
That's a political machine.

That means power must be accountable.
This case presents an opportunity for the Supreme Court to reaffirm that principle.”

Public sector unions spent over $700 million on elections in just one cycle — and 96% went to one party.
These are dues taken from government workers' paychecks. Workers deserve a choice.
Taxpayers deserve transparency.

While serving as treasurer of National Association of Letter Carriers, she signed and cashed at least 51 unauthorized checks worth $64,663.
The unauthorized checks were drawn from the union’s account and made payable to Zirkle for her personal benefit.

Teachers are leaving the job in droves because of disorderly, disruptive classrooms. If teachers overwhelmingly report better classroom environments because of phone bans, that's a major positive outcome in its own right, regardless of whether phone bans improve test scores.
Competition makes every industry better, and education is no exception.
Charter schools give parents options, inspire innovation, and push government-run systems to improve.
I saw that firsthand during my visit to @pitbull's @SLAMMiaOfficial, where I joined their student-run radio station and met an impressive group of talented students!
🚨 Yesterday was my last day of school. It was a bumpy, but great ride. Here are some take aways as a grateful public school teacher (in no particular order):
1. We have a chronic absenteeism issue from illness, to fake illness, to days missed for extracurriculars. Core classes through 8th grade should not be missed for extracurriculars. This can only be resolved with state policy.
2. Student work ethic starts at home.
3. Paper & pencil is the best way to help kids learn to write. Reading to your kids at home also helps.
4. Kids need structure & accountability at home and school.
5. There are so many common sense, amazing, and caring educators and admin who truly want the best for students. If that’s not happening at your child’s school, move, transfer, or homeschool. Seek the best choice for your child.
6. Parents need to be involved from school work to who their kids hangout with in and outside of school, including what’s happening on their phones.
7. State legislators making decisions about education need to participate in public education via subbing in the lowest performing school in their community.
8. If your school district Superintendent does not know you by name, your school district is too big.
9. The support staff, aides, custodians, and tech people are the lifeline of schools. If any one of these departments fail, it can be a huge problem for teachers and their ability to teach.
10. Bring back God, virtue, and morals to the classroom.
11. Bring back religious influence to the teaching of American history and civics.
12. Bring back a love of America, its culture, and the importance of the Constitution.
13. Take out teachers’ unions in America’s education system. They are the problem as none of their progressive ideas have ever worked. Students have declined in every way under their influence.
14. Finally, we are all here to serve the students. They are America’s future. When the education system fails students, America fails. Let’s make student success in education a true priority. 🇺🇸
