Encouraging people to skip the story in a story-focused game, especially the peak that is ShB-EW…will be incredibly detrimental. Yes if it’s people‘s choice fair enough…but funneling new players down that and making it easier for people to pressure their friends into skipping…

@necromosss As someone who also struggles with depression, Endwalker actually helped me get more of less of a handle on it. The overall message was something that I needed right when I got it, and as silly as it sounds, a lot of lines from EW became like a mantra that helps me keep going

It cloaks itself in aether and does stuff while we do commands with whistles and movements. And the „weapons“ we equip are essentially different skins for the bird itself. But that’s only my wild theory.

I‘ve been hatching a theory on how the falcon job might work. When it flies towards the camera, in the last second it looks like it’s about to envelop itself in Aether. That and the sound seem to me like the falcon „be“ the job weapon. No other. 1/2
