Stanford Health Care, Behavioral Health Clinician and Private Practice Psychotherapist at Amy Mann Therapy Telehealth practice specializing IBD Chronic Illness
It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to @CedarsSinai. Excited to announce I joined @StanfordHealth as a behavioral health clinician in two outpatient primary care clinics. Returned to my motherland.. the Bay Area. Will be different not talking about 💩each day. #newchapter#burbs
“Deliberately focusing one’s attention on a task, seemingly trivial, often overlooked routine, with deep intention and attention, rather than on auto-pilot, can prevent mental illness, improve mood, better relationships, reduce stress..”#mindful#lens

I was reminded recently how unpredictable IBD can be throughout a pts lifespan. And how IBD hospital admissions & surgical complications can turn profoundly traumatic and dehumanizing quickly. Check in with your IBD people after they’re hospitalized… they may want/need to talk.
Back in person in beautiful Santa Monica yoga studio! 🌴Free yoga for our IBD pts and family all ages, taught by our NP @mocheck @IBDCedarsSinai @connecttocure
@DrTiffTaft It’s the worst, ide say a weekly battle for me. No one is accepting new patients and the wait time is 3 plus months out. The patient increasingly spirals. I feel powerless even in a big city like LA.
Sneak peak. New Cedars-Sinai Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center open for business! A new large, efficient, & beautiful patient space. Adults and Peds under one roof. #IBD#GI#newstuff @IBDCedarsSinai @CedarsSinai
