Two separate high-pressure systems, one over the Southwest and another over the subtropical Atlantic, are expected to merge into a large heat dome over the central United States by the Fourth of July holiday. This could trigger the first major, widespread heat wave of 2026 across much of the South and Midwest.
A heat dome traps hot, humid air by acting like a lid, suppressing clouds and rain, and leading to prolonged extreme temperatures (often in the 90s°F with heat indexes exceeding 105°F). The heat will build first in the Gulf Coast and South, then expand into the Midwest, with the ridge potentially centered near St. Louis by July 1 and shifting toward Chicago by July 4.
NOAA forecasts high risks of extreme heat, especially in the Mid-Atlantic and South Carolina early in the week. The event poses particular dangers to vulnerable populations due to minimal nighttime relief and multi-day duration.
What are these electromagnetic spikes in the Schumann Resonance before the Venezuela Earthquakes? 🤔
NOTE: OP of pulsing light video (MaviTurkk) did not cite a source so I cannot verify the clip, which is why I said “it’s circulating” - but the explanation and supporting data I show still stand!
Strong #earthquakes occurred yesterday, also in unrelated faults (#Venezuela, #Japan, #California). This is what we refer to as "temporal clustering". Stronger tremors (M ≥ 5.5) tend to occur in clusters across the globe, tied to specific positions of the planets and the Moon.
A series of powerful earthquakes struck around the globe within a 12-hour span on Wednesday, with significant quakes recorded in California, Venezuela and off the coast of Japan. 🌎
⚠️I did not think we would end the day with two large earthquakes - a M 7.1 in Venezuela and the M 6.9 in Japan. I can't pin the Venezuela quake on Moon-Pluto, because, although the epicenter was at the antipode, the time of the quake was too long after forecast. Let's note that there were some magnetic precursor alerts before the Venezuela quake, in particular, the Alert (red) from Puerto Rico, 2 hours 40 minutes ahead and from Easter Island (dark blue) 35 minutes ahead. [@USGS ¿Comprendes los precursores magnéticos? ]
The probability of another 7.0+ magnitude earthquake in the aftermath of Wednesday’s duo is 6% per USGS.
Nearly a coin-flip for a still very impactful and felt 6.0+ around that general area.
Shifting Plates may be the cause of tonight's Twin Quakes across Venezuela. The Caribbean plate rubs eastward against the South American plate. Sooner or later, pent up energy is released in the form of earthquakes. They can be rather strong as witnessed this evening.
