Our TikTok widget is essentially the mobile TikTok site in a widget-sized browser with some added custom controls for desktop use.
No extra data exchange with TikTok beyond normal browsing.

Thanks for the feedback. The app icon thing was a slip that happened with the last release. This will be updated with the next release.

We have a few more priority bugs to iron out, but we are working on some Sonoma "feels" as well.
