I would really love to see you all there!
@KallenYae@Aelas_Wuwa I remember my feed being flooded with people bitching about it. It did die pretty fast, and I never had a ton of performance issues myself. Even still, this game is on beta, not full release, that's what a beta is for.
Everyone was shitting on endfield at the start too. Having all those mechanics on mobile sent everyone over the edge. It smoothed out and now everything is fine. I remember doing the sponsorship for WUWA and yea it was horrible at the start, but they don't know what to expect until its out for everyone. then they can do damage control.
@bloomiyu_ Mine has gone AWOL and after dming them so many times I've given up. I still credit her but it's pointless. Every artist I've ever used has gone AWOL or shut down comms due to drama or mental health. It could also be a close friend who wasn't wanting to open comms to others.
@n1ghtfawn I mean it's all for attention? They think it will gain audience. Every single thing I've seen for this university crap is basic info you can get from googling. Half the time it Isn't even helpful for a lot of people due to a multitude of reasons.
Appreciate you looking out, but sadly this stuff won't work for the majority of small to medium sized streamers. It's all stuff viewers have to buy. It sucks streamelements went balls up and fucked everything over. They had games you could have viewers play to get paid. No money required. A few similar sites I've found are garbage and rarely pay anything out. We really need a non payment alternative.
@Rose_Star13@meeksmyboy I am so fucking happy for you! I still can't get one because even at 34 "I still might change my mind". I really hope it makes your life so much better. Please heal fast.
I'm so sick of this shit. They did that to me at 25 when I was begging for a hysterectomy. I'm now in my 30s, still never want children and still suffering horrible crippling periods. I hate how it's so ingrained in society. Even if kids were wanted, who can even afford them anymore?
@Sir_Bercilak@ohitspiper I wouldn't be surprised. Everyone is all about clickbait. Shorts aren't even worth it half the time because short videos are for people who want short and fast, not long form content like streams.
There is also a huge difference between "Hey guys I've been watching the streamer universities and it has a lot of helpful info! You all should check it out!" and "those not paying attention to the streamer university are DROPPING THE BALL" and acting like your a failure if you don't watch it as if its magically going to improve you. 90% of what I've seen is make your stream attractive, talk to you viewers, make a schedule, be consistent and mostly luck based. There is nothing wrong with wanting to improve yourself or help others improve, just don't start with a warpath saying everyone is losing out for not watching a stream that might not even be helpful to said person.
I don't stream as a hobby and I didn't say you couldn't watch it and so far what I've seen from those who watched, it's all been either common sense or things I've learned over the 11 years of streaming. There is nothing wrong with wanting to improve. Most people are flocking to it because "ooh big streamer make me famous"
@yewfnet@Ookamiyoru@ohitspiper I understand that, but at the same time, the amount of people streaming is so overblown, that it doesn't matter when you stream. You will always be below a certain amount of people.
@Hellveaniavt I do as well. Shit is so expensive! I know it takes a ton of time and work but It's so hard to find good, cheaper and safe artists. I wish you luck!
Some people don't watch those they follow and don't want to falsely inflate follow/views for others. Also a lot of people have a massive list and may not remember certain people. For me, every now and again for years now, some of my follows have been removed. I have known many other streamers who have had followers removed without doing it themselves. If you still talk to them and you have no issues, why not still follow and support them? If they push away just be the bigger person and support them regardless. If you did something wrong and they didn't say anything, that's on them. No need to hold onto it like a dagger in your chest. <3
More often than not people just want to get famous. So they work super hard getting nowhere, and then they burn themselves out. I remember when I was new to streaming, I went to twitchcon. The panelists basically said to just have a schedule and go live when the top streamers aren't. Because heaven forbid we have a sleep schedule. Don't wanna ruin the viewership of the top streamers, do we? So many people push, get partner, and then quit because of mental health or burnout. I just wish people would actually stream because they want to have fun and meet people. <3
