30 years ago this week, the CVG team received a review copy of Psygnosis' Lemmings. The Amiga platform-puzzler wowed us all - its highly original gameplay was absolutely brilliant, and the game was rated 93% by @digitalfoundry, one of CVG's resident reviewers at the time.

Now my room smells quite musty. I think the Amiga needs a clean but my box of games and manuals is probably harbouring a few spores too! A fun evening; will report more this week ^BW
So my brother bought me a used A500, and this evening it's been nostalgia city. Much like that Christmas in the early nineties when we both unwrapped the very same device new, Lemmings went in the slot first ^BW
To complete the retro look and feel, I dug out a CRT screen I've had for nearly 30 years. Found the remote shortly afterwards, treated it to new batteries and then got this - until I remembered I have a Scart adapter
Another thing to consider is that the Amiga relied heavily on a mouse for user input. The Pi has four USB ports, of which two are needed for the joysticks, one for the audio and the other I'm switching between the keyboard and mouse. Not ideal
DMA Design were a force of nature in the Amiga gaming world. Under the hashtag #30YearsOfDMADesign, Mike Dailly (@mdf200) is sharing some amazing photos and screens from their heyday ^BW
This C64 Lego Idea almost reached 1K supporters (the required number to get LEGO's attention). Let's push this over the edge this week. Pretty sure they will ask for 5K next, but in the C= community that seems SO doable. Amiright? Vote: https://t.co/UwspK0N3ZW
