@nxwestmidlands I just bought the student 4 week ticket from the app, I tried to use it twice today on the X10 Birmingham and it came up as ticket invalid on the screen both times.

The ticket is active on the app and I have put my ID number into it, it still says it’s invalid

@haedxob @nxwestmidlands I’ve heard a few people got fined £50 for not having their ID on them when the driver asked for it, even on a weekend. So definitely make sure you always have it on you

@haedxob @nxwestmidlands I haven’t received an email yet but on the website you can find a google forums link to send your student verification letter to them. I did this just to get it out the way instead of waiting for the email. I also put my student ID number on the app, and carry my card

@haedxob @nxwestmidlands I didn’t unfortunately I can’t find anyone to contact, guessing I have to wait until Monday 9am too. I had to pay for a daysaver today after just paying £49 for the student pass. So ridiculous, the helpline isn’t open until Monday and their form takes 10 days for them to reply to

@leisha_bb @nxwestmidlands Literally same, gonna have to buy 2 day savers for Saturday and Sunday until I can call them Monday. I should hope they offer refunds to people who have had to buy other tickets in the meantime

Maybe it’s because all the new students have just bought the 4 week pass and it’s messing with the system or something??

I’m so worried about this, I’m a student so I don’t have a lot of money and if I can’t get this ticket to work I’ve lost almost £50
