@MattWalshBlog When I listen to oral arguments, I’m always impressed by the same handful. None of them are women. Sorry to say this as a woman, but the women seem more emotional and the men more logical. Pains me to say it as a woman, but it’s true. None of these women are impressive at all.
First Father’s Day without my Dad. He died of a ventricular fibrillation on May 12th at 73. Very healthy and incredibly active man. No coronary artery disease, heart looked fine. Lost my Mom to Covid four years ago. Had hoped I’d see my Dad die of old age. Such a smart, clever man of great integrity. Just doesn’t seem real.
My Dad just died from a v- fib. Apparently if you have had severe Covid that required hospitalization, you are at a significantly increased risk of having a v-fib. He had no coronary artery disease - nothing to explain why he had a vfib other than that. My Mom died at age 69 of covid. She was vaccinated. My uncle also died from Covid in his 50’s. Covid all but destroyed our family and our lives as we knew them.
@RobSchneider If the average person kills one person they get life. If you fund a lab that kills millions you get a pardon, a government pension and a security detail. Imagine how those of us who had loved ones killed by this virus feel knowing nothing will ever happen to him?
Lost my Dad a month ago. Healthy, active- sharp as a tack. Collapsed in the middle of the night with a ventricular fibrillation. Never regained consciousness. Heart fine, no blockages. They don’t know what caused it. All my grandparents lived to mid eighties and nineties. My parents both gone. One to Covid and now my Dad to this. Seems unfathomable.
You’re not above lies to inflame I guess. They were not all white. You realize the defense plays a role in choosing the jury right? He stabbed a kid to death. Imagine if the murderer was white and stabbed a black kid and killed him. You would feel totally different. I wouldn’t. You’re the racist.
@LeaderJohnThune Sometimes the dangerous people are within our own government - particularly the Senate. Dangerous doesn’t always mean violent. It can mean duplicitous, conniving and self serving.
@MikeDelph I mean we all know…I work in an office on Mass Ave. Few months ago a homeless man tried to carjack a moving van in our parking lot at 9ish in the morning. The moving van guys were not having it and subdued the guy. I lived downtown for years until 2010. It ain’t the same town.
