We are at a moment that will define President Trump’s legacy.

His instincts have been to finish the job he started in Iran, but he is being ill advised to pursue a deal that would not be worth the paper it is written on. Our commander-in-chief needs to allow America's skilled armed forces to finish the destruction of Iran's conventional military capabilities and reopen the strait.

The United Kingdom has endlessly appeased the criminal regime in Iran. The Prime Minister speaks of protecting the innocent civilians of Iran but failed to act to help stop the regime’s massacre of 40,000 innocent Iranians in January.

Only an end to this regime - that brings terror to Britain’s own shores - will yield lasting peace and regional stability. Keir Starmer should follow in the footsteps of Churchill, not Chamberlain. He should support the Iranian people’s fight for liberty.

Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere, fand eine ähnlich große Demonstration in Deutschland nur 1982 im Bonner Hofgarten gegen die Nachrüstung statt. 250.000 Menschen sind heute dem Aufruf Reza Pahlavis allein in München gefolgt, weltweit waren es sicherlich Millionen, und haben ein friedliches Bekenntnis zu einem freien Iran abgelegt und um die Solidarität der westlichen Welt gebeten. Sehr beeindruckend und interessant, dass es so viele Iraner in Deutschland gibt. Das wird sicherlich nicht folgenlos bleiben!
