Madhya Pradesh govt to introduce the Metropolitan Region Planning & Development Bill 2025 in the Monsoon session today.

It proposes the creation of Bhopal & Indore Metropolitan Regions with clearly defined boundaries and a unified authority at the state level.

🟢 Bhopal Metro Region to include:
Mandideep, Raisen, Obedullaganj, Sanchi, Vidisha, Sehore, Ashta, Nasrullaganj, Biaora & parts of Narmadapuram district

🔵 Indore Metro Region to include:
Indore, Dewas, Ujjain, Barwani, Dhar, Sonkatch & parts of Shajapur

📍Bhopal region ends at Sehore-Dewas district border; Indore region begins there.
