1) B.L. Santhosh, the RSS-aligned organisational strategist, stays firmly in place as National General Secretary (Organisation).

2) Anil Baluni, Lok Sabha MP from Uttarakhand and a known safe hand, continues as Media Convenor.

3) Piyush Goyal returns as National Treasurer. A post he held once before, between 2010 and 2014, before handing it off. A sitting Union Cabinet minister taking charge of the party’s finances again is not a routine posting. It’s a heavyweight signal of trust from the top.

4) Vasundhara Raje Scindia continues as National Vice President. Worth flagging given her uneasy equation with the current state leadership, her retention is a story in itself. Does Delhi still need Raje more than Raje needs Delhi?

5) Smriti Irani, known for her combative style, is back as National General Secretary.

6) Sambit Patra continues as BJP’s North-East Coordinator.

7) Nabin’s Bihar imprint is impossible to miss. Bihar faces have been elevated Shivesh Kumar Ram as SC Morcha chief, Siddharth Shambhu as National Secretary, fresh off the 2025 Bihar verdict.

8) The Morcha list - Yuva, Mahila, OBC, SC, ST, Minority, Kisan - is classic BJP social-coalition arithmetic. Textbook caste and social engineering. Zero surprises.

Bottom line: This is a new president consolidating trust before he attempts to assert control. The architecture remains largely intact.
