Completely agree with @kevharps7. Would’ve been some player for @ScotlandNT. I remember being declined a youth trial from a professional football club because “the Asian diet was not suitable”. Didn’t even get chance. https://t.co/BD5ooiPN61

@tamhere1875 @kevharps7 I was about 13. The world has moved on but more work needed. When working in youth player recruitment there was a lack of young BAME players from the Edinburgh & Lothian areas. Hopefully the next generation are given the encouragement and support to get involved.
