@raahi_bhushan It appears close price quoted is not volume weighted. Though the orders were matched by volumes. So highest volume price was EOD price.
What if 1 day only 1 buyer and 1 seller was there in CAS, who traded 1 share of Reliance at 100,000. Nifty will close at 500,000 that day😱
🤣🤣
@raahi_bhushan Is this EOD price based on volume? Or just due to order matching, irrespective of the volume? I think it was the latter. Because why would anyone want to buy anything in bulk at such high prices? Manipulation is when you buy cheap, and force others to buy dear.
@Nithin0dha@jackschwager@mysandz Changing the rules, or strategy doesn't mean you have become discretionary. Discretion is when you just do anything on the spur of the moment. So even if one changes rules, or strategy, but does it through planning and observing market conditions, it's still Systematic trading.
@samuraipips358@tradertheory Profound!
Earlier I used to bother about managing emotions. Everyone advised it. No one told how to do it.
Now, thanks to you, I know my thoughts decide my emotions. So, if I have thoroughly backtested my strategy, I develop trust in it.
Now I never have to "manage" my emotions.
@samuraipips358 If I just took all your posts on X and made a book out of it, it will be a masterclass on the human aspect of trading - To truly understand how probability works in trading, and how one's emotions work.
@dipzzz26@samuraipips358 Neither.
Thinking in probability is the law of large numbers. Individual trade results don't matter.
Probability is random in short-term. You can never know if the trade in front will be a win or a loss.
But if your strategy has a proven edge, you will be profitable in long-term.
@GripFangWolf So does Nifty rise in moon's waning phase? 😂 Since generally gold and nifty have inverse beta relationship.
You are right in pointing that out. He may get it right. But that's not the point.
Since strategy is one part. The bigger part is how you manage risks.
@RajSaikia173334@suchak_chirag Waah aap to bahut gyaani ho.
Aapne news dekh kar trade kar ke crores banaaye hi honge. Ye bechara kam gyaani trader to 1.2 cr duba kar sirf 36 lakh hi bana paya. Bahut bahut dhanyavaad aapka. Aap na ho to ye bechara sab paise duba hi dega🙄
@Fintech00 Put a clown on the throne, and that's what happens. That doesn't make the clown any better though.
Anyway, his clownery has an expiry day too.
Tab tak tamasha dekho!
@samuraipips358 You need not change anything that you do. No need to cater to popular perception. Keep on doing what you have been doing. Your wisdom and insight are truly valuable. It can only be appreciated by serious traders. Then so be it. Thanks for sharing.
@GripFangWolf@lakshaysaroha25 Correct advice.
Only those can succeed in trading who have realized there is noone to fall back to, except themselves. Money, as well as advice-wise. And even then, success is not guaranteed.
So, someone who is still seeking advice, it's better to quit trading, at least for now.
