@AmjadiElli and @2023Cieslinski signed yesterday to play for @UWECVolleyball. Two fantastic young women, surrounded here by family, friends, and coaches...in 3 1/2 seasons they led the Cougars to 82 wins, a CSL North title, and the first GVB Regional for VH girls' VB in a decade.

Fourth CSL All-Conference selection is CSL North Co-Player of the year Elli Amjadi.
Elli finishes a four-year varsity career at the all-time leader in digs (1,057) and aces (186). Led VH in '22 with 329 digs, 59 aces, and 388 serves passed (2.26 rating). Heading to UW Eau-Claire.

Best season in girls volleyball history (32-6) ends too soon with a 15-25, 23-25 loss in the Sectional final. And the best season because of the quality of these girls. You’ll be missed. Thanks to everyone who came out to cheer them on tonight. We noticed. And we loved this year.

Final point is Peyton to Maya to Alexa. Cougars win 25-19, 25-21 over Deerfield to advance to Wednesday’s Sectional championship. VHVB now 32-5 and playing deeper in the state tourney than any GVB team in VH history. Will you be there with them Wednesday…?

Cougars win a Regional title for the first time in 12 years, 25-14, 25-23 over Carmel at Chicago Senn HS. VH now 31-5 and headed home to host a Sectional semifinal on Monday at 6 pm. Will you be there for these girls?!
