Indian Fanta contains artificial colours.

French Fanta contains real oranges.
Indian Fanta does not contain oranges and uses “orange flavours”.

French Fanta contains around 69 calories.
Indian Fanta contains around 168 calories.

Same brand. Same drink. Completely different product.

The question is simple:
Why are healthier formulations possible abroad, but not in India?

At Kundalahalli Lake, we installed a plastic-capturing filter of a new design. The central mesh is of nylon rope, to avoid rusting. The filter sits in a 10'x10' receptacle to easily allow workers to clean. Its diagonal alignment maximizes capture area.

The design is born of nearly a decade of wrestling with plastic trash clogging waterways.

The filter will prevent downstream blockages and the resulting floods.

INDIA WINS! Bournvita FINALLY reduces it’s SUGAR after all the backlash on social media!

8 months ago, I made a video highlighting Bournvita’s high sugar content which went VIRAL!

Then I received a legal notice from Bournvita. They also called my video “unscientific”.

A leading nutrition body in India comprising of 8 doctors and nutritionists signed a document stating my video is entirely SCIENTIFIC.

Out of nowhere, the government sent Bournvita a legal notice, and asked Bournvita to take down their misleading ads.

And now 8 months later, Bournvita changes their product, and reduces added sugar by 15%!

This is probably the FIRST time in HISTORY that a social media video has led to a food giant reducing their sugar content!

If one video can result in a 15% reduction in added sugar, imagine what we can achieve if all of us start reading food labels before we buy anything!

THIS IS THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE! THIS IS THE POWER OF THE TRUTH! THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!

In Brookefields Layout Bangalore after installing red-white-yellow reflective bollards to mark the sidewalk, pedestrians prefer using their designated pathway, thereby reducing collisions or accidents. Big leap in a small way.
