The number of full-fledged Free and open-source software (FOSS) products and initiatives coming out of the 4th Phase, JP Nagar (Zerodha Tech), must be unprecedented for a team of its size globally.
All of these projects started as a way to solve problems we faced internally and were then open sourced. We use them at scale in our stack, and several large organisations and even government departments globally use many of these tools today.

This tree fell more than 1.5 years ago during heavy rains and storms.
It is STILL lying there, blocking half the road!
This is on Kariyamana Agrahara Road, right before Helios Business Park, Prestige Velocity, Prestige Tech Park, and near the Oracle Tech Hub.
Thousands of employees use this stretch daily, and during peak hours the traffic becomes a nightmare — all because one fallen tree has not been removed for more than a year and a half.
How can such basic civic negligence continue despite repeated complaints?

Imagine this scenario:
Intel agencies frequently uncover terror plots, but due to the decision of some babus and the poor PR machinery of Govt, these are not widely publicized or taken to the public in a timely manner.
Now imagine an Islamic terror attack like the Delhi blast. It will consume our news cycle immediately. But on the side, news will emerge about other terror plots that intelligence agencies had uncovered beforehand. Nobody will pay heed.
We will ask questions like, "How did this terrorist act happen suddenly? Why did our agencies miss it? What were they doing? Why does the govt seem to act only after a terrorist act? Why didn't they inform us beforehand?"
I will ask these questions, and you will ask these questions, and we won’t be wrong in asking them.
Consequently, using psyops by the enemy, the public can be easily manipulated into believing that the government is now covering up the truth following a terror incident only now releasing information about previous incidents.
This is why constant communication from the govt and proper PR are important. India has truth on its side and good efforts going on in every field. But we miserably fail to convey it to the public in a regular, timely, proper, and repeated manner.
Even today, while I was researching about other terror plots and security risks India uncovered in the past, I came across so many tit-bits, small passing headlines in news portals, that talk of foiled attempts. But I never knew such big plots were there against India and were uncovered.
Though such information was out, it was not widely publicized and given the right kind of PR it deserves at the right time is what I can understand. Such news was not taken to every person as it should have been and repeatedly used to convey the risks India faces.
This is something GOI must fix. There must be a big overhaul in PIB and a war room for PR must be setup. Every SM platform, every media, every format, every language, and every method must be used to convey to every citizen, info from the govt in a timely manner.
But only once is not enough. Critical info must be repeated like an Ad. Keep telling what risks India faces, what all govt is doing, and what terrorists are plotting everyday. It will never get old. It will help people remember better, keep us together, and prevent us falling prey to psyops.
And this war room must also be used to fight the massive dis-info and psyops against India online both inside the country and outside. IMHO, this operation must be setup first before carrying out any other operation.
Or it won't matter if India can bomb another nuclear nation at will calling their bluff, wherever it wants, our public will still be left counting planes and parts like paupers while parroting the enemy's propaganda.
Our intel agencies and agents work day and night to secure our country and every citizen against unprecedented number of security threats while staking their lives.
To try to politicize them and attack them when there is a security incident is a shame. This message is also for those defending them now against the sickening attack by the misled opposition supporters and radicals, too.
When the parties change at the center, do not become the other side yourself if there is a terror attack then. Don't politicize terror attacks that our enemy orchestrates and uses our politics and religious divides to cunningly shift the blame.

So, Messi is coming to India and tickets to just meet him are selling for 10–95 lakh. Meanwhile, our own football league (ISL) can’t even find a bidder. That’s the paradox of Indian sports. We will worship global icons but won’t invest in local talent. This isn’t about football or Messi. It’s about our obsession with instant inspiration and seeking vanity instead building a sports culture. We scream “India should qualify for the World Cup,” but won’t watch a domestic match or build a playground in our city.
Messi will leave after three days and there will be chats in office and home for two weeks. But that’s not enough. We’ve to fix our culture and invest in playing sports and local talent.

🌿 Before ➡️ After | Change begins with a post!
A few days ago, we featured garbage piling up in RT Nagar -smooth new roads, but messy corners.
And today, the spot’s transformed! 🙌
Thanks to swift action by BWSML, GBA & the waste is cleared and the stretch now sports rangoli and flower pots, an inspiring change. 🌸 @KareeGowda_IAS@BNCCofficial

Over a month of major disruptions, and the so-called white-topped road remains a disappointment. A narrow width barely allows one vehicle, let alone two-way traffic or emergency movement, years of traffic chaos remain unaddressed.
@GBA_office@GBAChiefComm@DKShivakumar@siddaramaiah@osd_cmkarnataka@0RRCA@ChristinMP_@TVMohandasPai@kiranshaw@Hamsaa04
Safety & Quality Concerns: The sharp drop at the edges is a hazard for two-wheelers, especially during peak hours or rains. Leveling and proper side-filling are urgently needed to prevent accidents.
Capacity Issues: How is this road expected to handle water tankers, school buses, and daily traffic? Even one large vehicle stalls the flow entirely.
Widening & Land Acquisition: The long-pending land and legal issues with 3-4 properties block proper widening. How can individual households outweigh the GBA or the Karnataka Government when public welfare is at stake?
Accountability & Standards: Who approves these projects as “complete”? What safety and width standards are applied for critical roads?
The community has waited long enough. Officials must be accountable for quality, safety, and long-term planning, not just box-ticking. Transparency and immediate corrective action are non-negotiable. 🚧🛣️ #Bengaluru #Varthur #CivicAccountability #UrbanPlanning #Panathur

BIG BREAKING NEWS 🚨 India Today’s investigation busts another agenda against Vote Chori.
UNPRECEDENTED 🔥🔥
It finds that the claim of 223 duplicate voters in Haryana’s Dhakola village was actually caused by a clerical photo misprint not voter fraud.
The village had, in fact, voted decisively for Congress in 2024.
This is Electronic City, India’s first IT SEZ. When you allow unplanned growth, this is the result. @siddaramaiah@DKShivakumar — when will the government learn the importance of planning in Karnataka?
If any politician claims he has visited Singapore and will make our city like London — don’t believe him. He’s not just fooling you but misleading you towards decline and degrowth. This is the condition of the Carmelaram ROB, Bengaluru — under construction for more than 3 years! #BrandBengaluru
