So I'm seeing people say "yell about the books you love."
And I think it's important to add "yell back when someone else yells about a book you love"
That's definitely what I've thought was good about all this. (Other than that I wish good fortune on people I like). People quoting it, talking about their journey into writing, people showing all the pictures of red and blue things together that they've collected...
I feel like the internet of books tries not to look backward. But it should.
Because one of the things we love the most, as nerds, is loving things TOGETHER.

But I AM saying that there's a limited amount of buzz you can build when like 20 people on the planet have read a book. "You should read this. I really liked it. It comes out two months from now. HOPE YOU REMEMBER!"
(I'm not saying I don't want arcs, please give me arcs and I will work my behind the scenes magic of getting your book to the weird little pocket of the internet that I have access to which would appreciate it most.)
Bigolus Dickolas Wolfwood is obviously a spectacular hype man with an underrated skill with words, HOWEVER, I don't think the tweets could have done all this without several hundred of us going "ok but for real that book is feckin great."
