Having said what I said below, the degree you earn can have a profound effect on your future. Don’t listen to those who say it doesn’t matter. It does.

Try to graduate with the best degree that you can. You can argue that it shouldn’t make a difference but, in reality, it does. It is just how it is.

I only managed to escape a 3rd Class when, after my third year, I thought: “These people will give me a 3rd Class if I don’t start reading o.” With a third class, you won’t be accepted into a Master's by most universities.

I did very well in my final year and, fortunately, it was weighted more heavily than earlier years at my university. I did well in Law School, did well in my Master's, and got a Distinction for my PhD. If they had given me a 3rd Class, my story may have been different.
