Such a bizarre conversation on social media about the axis of resistance. The idea that Iran did something horribly underhanded by giving weapons to Palestinian and Lebanese resistance, from people who purport to support Palestine, is strange.

Sure, that was in Iran’s interest to a degree bc it’s a country that has a defense strategy like any other, but also this was in Palestine’s defense interests. Arming Palestinian resistance is only a bad thing if you support Zionism.

Would you prefer Iran not have armed resistance groups across the region to fight Zionism? What would the alternative options for weapons have been? No one else was willing to arm the resistance. I really don’t understand the complaint here.

And then to say Hezbollah doesn’t care about Palestine is outrageous. The group spent the year fighting a war in support of Gaza and its senior leadership was assassinated and the south was destroyed as a result. Not sure you can show more solidarity than that sort of sacrifice.
