Anyone unfamiliar with me, I’m Zee. 👋🏾 I currently study Law (alongside criminal law w. human rights), and I am qualified and experienced in counselling in mental health & counselling skills. You won’t be condemned, exposed, laughed at, nor judged & hopefully later we’d make a structured scheme together on focused mental goals, not as a personal counsellor, but simply as a supportive person online.

It’s okay to speak up and let things out, even I, have moments where I fall short and need someone to vent to.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary issue. We’ve all heard the saying, “you only live once”, but I view the saying in the lens that– we are blessed and privileged to wake up each day & have another opportunity to live, to grow, & make a difference, an opportunity many have been deprived of.

In an ever-increasing digital society, it is easily forgettable that there is a real person behind every screen, & how one’s words hold such penetrative power.
An individual may come across as euphoric, voluble, or bubbly, whilst covertly using an online space as means to escape dilemmas that feel agonising in reality.

It costs nothing to be kind– one act of kindness from you, even if it is online, can shape one’s life. You may forget that act of kindness but to them it’s very dear.
Your small gesture of empathy, of welcoming and value, can save one’s life– a reminder to whomever that there is hope & something to hold on to.

Again, be kind, don’t be afraid of making mistakes– but learn from them. Apologise, forgive, let go of malice & learn to love unconditionally, disgorge, look out for others, and think before you type, act or speak, no matter the issue at hand.

Anyone silently facing something right now, keep going and remember that you matter & better days are ahead. Condolences & prayers to those that have passed.
