@DrFredMmembe Greetings: thanks for your inspirational choice for the week. I am reading God & Churchill, how the man, though not deeply religious believe in the “overwhelming force for good” always overcoming evil.
@arnoldzulu Yes, yes ba Zulu, it is challenging but every novel idea usually is. We are managing at 16 hectares of soya and ordinary beans. It costs more even. But one of my lifetime aspirations is minimal damage to the environment. Planting, not cutting trees is almost an obsession!
In my full time job now, one of the most difficult decisions I face is to cut trees to clear the land for crops. I have found a solution: I am growing mostly local beans which does just fine under the trees. Winning both ways farming & conserving trees!
@Nakalikome Yeh, it costs more and is more difficult to plough but we managed this with a tractor. Got four hectares under beans and 12 under soya beans. So it is 16 hectares. Mainly acacia trees
@diamondtvzambia The MP for the area, Hon MUKOSA, is among those the Speaker barred from all Parliamentary business until their appeal is determined on the ConCourt. 9 constituencies have been unrepresented since then!
@FMwenge It’s short drive southwards then u go west into Makeni and face northwards emerging at the huge traffic circle at Katuba on the Great North Rd. A good ring road where all heavy trucks are obliged to pass.
@chismental@DiggersOfNews Have you ever heard anyone who can charge themselves and present themselves before court. Tell your friends at ACC to respond to my now over six years challenge to take me@to court over any case of corruption and see the outcome
CCZ GS made sad reading today. Agreed PF was brutal as even I went into cells for political persecution. But Politicians have no enemies. We always hope the Clergy keeps quiet about even obvious BUT divisive opinions. Zambians need hope and prayers for 2022.
@lusakatimes Some overzealousness will end in tears. I think President wouldn’t be banning payment of an allowance if he has not seen people receiving it. Cabinet Office themselves are making these payments & so must stop.
@JWSakalajr@NdawanaY HOAX indeed, how can organization, tasked at great tax payer’s expense, to fight crime, descend into enforcement of morals and “invention of rituals”. Are we all seeing what we seeing?
@NdawanaY@Clive_Mbs Youngson, these people must change their career from criminal justice to story telling. I could neither recognize my home nor the version of events in court. At next hearing we are making an application to call the malicious reporter. How come 11 other reporters did not see this?
@NdawanaY It’s all made up. How can suspects order Investigators to close their eyes and walk backwards and they comply? In cross examination she recanted all these lies. Its only value is to malign given weak case they have. And what evidential value does this have assuming it were true?
@NdawanaY Thanks Youngson, barring any disruptions, it could take another 9 months before the biography comes out. Zero draft undergoing scrutiny for compliance with the 25-year oath requirements.
Driving past my former school evoked a deep nostalgic feeling; visited & proud how well kept it still is! Sch head showed me how well they have used alumni support to rebuild ablutions. Well done! Alumni let’s do more!
A good infrastructure is an equalizer. Mpika’s dual carriage in the CBD strikes a resemblance with the new-look Lake Rd. in Kabulonga! So, an equitable society is possible. An optimistic voice on the sidewalk of this Mpika thoroughfare goes: icalo ba balewamya, kulapitamofye
A very enlightening Sunday evening with HRH Mwine Lubemba at his palace. He emphasized political education in schools and other public institutions, voter awareness and most importantly political parties’ irrecoverable commitment to peace & national unity ahead of 2021 polls.
