Get the sun cream on! See you along the parade route shortly. The parade leaves the Firs at midday and makes its way through town to the park at around one o'clock. The bucket collection is for St Andrews Church Food Bank.

The AmpGala Music Arena kicks off at 12.45 with Myoto - formed in early 2020, Manchester four-piece Myoto are bursting with energy and emotion.

Tickets available at gates - £5 for an adult. Accompanied children, AmpProms and Weekender ticket holders have free entry.

We're delighted that the weather forecasts look windy but safe for tomorrow, so AmpGala will go ahead. We have some fantastic local bands and a stonking tribute act.
