I had the opportunity this weekend to travel out to Manchester, KY for the grand opening celebration for PowerUp America's first site. This NEVI funded site fills in a huge charging gap in rural Kentucky, and features Kempower charging equipment.

@brandenflasch @OverlyTrev They've only had almost 2 years to deal with this. And I'm not sure why they didn't make part of opening up the network, that the other manufacturers had to help fund the conversion costs.

@RivianTrackr I just spent a week with a Gen 1 r1s, I did find the placement of the handle awkward. I'm not familiar with the Gen 2 button, but I imagine it's in a better spot

@TheElectricJay @ThatsWhatHeSayd @TeslaCharging No, on a v4 cabinet the connector holder should be on the right side when facing it, that puts where the cable attaches on the left closet to the charging port for drive front applications. These are set up backwards, negating the longer cables for non-Tesla.
