@vfiorese_@StarryInternet@3GPPLive This is what happens when the industry claims 5G is the answer to life the universe and everything. Instead of 42, you get a brand that means nothing at all.
Congrats to Rep. Bob Latta for being selected by Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers to lead Republicans on the Communications and Technology (C&T) Subcommittee on the Energy and Commerce Committee!

@communitynets@stacyfmitchell@wispa I wish I was as confident in that statement! It's difficult to plan and invest when Congress and the FCC is so unpredictable.
@communitynets@stacyfmitchell There are many @WISPA members in rural areas providing our customers similar services and similar pricing to what is available in urban areas. That it's not sufficient to interest AT&T or other ex-monopolies isn't a bad thing. Creating new monopolies with government money is.
Congress and the FCC want to spend Billions of dollars to raise the definition of broadband to 100/100 or even 1000/1000. The upload speed number ONLY exists to pick a specific technology - fiber. There is no actual current or even future demand for extremely high upload.
30 days of fixed wireless broadband usage. Our customers use a lot of data - One at 4.2Tb, Two over 3Tb, FortyFour over 2Tb, and 564 over a Tb. Average of 375Gb down, 26Gb upload. Total transfers? 6,486 Pb to customers, 0.227 Pb upload.
@MCalabreseNAF Given the success WISP's have made of the most 'shared' spectrum in the world - the unlicensed ISM bands, I absolutely agree with both of your statements!
@mikeddano@WISPAnews 16.2% overall, and 127% increase in fiber customer revenue. Most fiber growth is competitive wins from other providers. More to come next year!
