This is true wealth, and it compounds faster than paper money.
When God gives you a chance to become an IAS officer, you choose to become Tukaram instead of Naval Ram.

Overnight success is a rarity, and success without failure, even more so. Those who are experts today also started off as novices. They practiced their craft over and over again, without being discouraged. So, firmly resolve that persistence is necessary for accomplishing your worthy goals.

Rain can wait. Your safety can’t.
Heavy rainfall is likely to slow traffic across Pune. If your journey isn’t essential, consider postponing it during peak hours.

His name was Brigadier Mohammad Usman.
At Partition, Pakistan wanted him. He was one of the finest Muslim officers in the army, and he was offered seniority and a future in the new Pakistan he could not have dreamed of in India.
He said no.
Twelve days short of his 36th birthday, he died fighting for India instead.
He was born on 15 July 1912 in Azamgarh, the son of a police officer. When he was twelve, a child fell into a well in his village. Usman jumped in and pulled him out. The rope tore his hands open. He carried those scars for the rest of his life.
He trained at Sandhurst, one of the few Indians the British allowed to become officers.
Then came Partition. His regiment, the Baluch, was sent to Pakistan. Almost every Muslim officer went with it. Usman was urged to go too, and offered rank and promotion in the new army.
His answer was simple. He was born in India. He would die in India.
Late 1947. Pakistani raiders poured into Kashmir and took Jhangar, planning to hand it over as a prize. Usman was sent to hold Nowshera.
His own men, raw from Partition, doubted whether a Muslim commander would be loyal. He made "Jai Hind" the greeting of his brigade and swore he would not sleep on a bed until Jhangar was retaken.
6 February 1948. Eleven thousand attackers hit Nowshera from every side. His outnumbered men did not break.
Nearly a thousand of the enemy lay dead by the end. Thirty-three Indians fell. They began calling him the Lion of Nowshera. Pakistan put a bounty of fifty thousand rupees on his head.
3 July 1948. Evening at Jhangar. He had just finished his prayers and was meeting his officers when a shell landed near his post. He died within minutes.
He was the highest-ranking Indian officer killed in that war.
Nehru and his cabinet came to the funeral. Maulana Azad led the prayers. He was given the Maha Vir Chakra. He lies buried at Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi.
A man who was offered a future in one country, and chose to die for another.
Congratulations General Dhiraj Seth on assuming the charge as Chief of the Army Staff @adgpi
A thorough professional and a gentleman.
Having served as colleagues dealing with Indian Army’s futuristic strategy, long term perspective plans, technology and weapon systems, I am sanguine that he will lead the Army to further glory and make a difference 👍
Jai Hind 🇮🇳
Something happens in the country and world.
Egg lobby, meat lobby, protein mix, calcium, vitamins, supplements, milk, cheese, organic, coke, diet coke,
It just starts.
It took generations to shift from being animals eating raw meat, to cooked meat, to agrarian society, and rapidly back to meat only can sustain healthy life.
Then comes Bill Gates. Who now wants factory produced artificial products for meat replacement.
Suddenly soya, of US, became important as replacement for milk and meat.
In US, all meat eaters one has to see contrast in size of body and brain.
The rich eat only vegetables and poor farm produced meat.
All Jats, who are doing exceptionally well in all sports are veggies, milk, ghee product type.
All chicken and meat types around Haryana are bloated, fat, and running into cancer trains.
In East, fish and meat are primary source of food and they are awesomely fit.
So, eat local food. Be happy and Be fit.
Think about it.
@major_pawan@TinyDhillon Sir they target every one including civilians. Some people leak the numbers I am getting many such calls after purchasing my new vehicle.

RIFLEMAN JASWANT SINGH RAWAT

let us honor the courageous Rfn Jaswant Singh Rawat, MahaVirChakra (P). In the face of a formidable Chinese assault at Nuranang, Arunachal Pradesh, he kept fighting unwaveringly until his last breath.
PUNE: In a major blow to consumer trust and religious sentiments, a piece of bone was reportedly found in a pure veg thali at the well-known 'Pind Punjab' restaurant in the Camp area today.
A group of four vegetarian friends had visited the restaurant on Moledina Road and ordered 'Paneer Tikka Masala Dal Makhani Thalis'. To their utter horror, a bone was found inside the vegetarian meal. When the customers confronted the staff, the restaurant employees themselves initialy agreed it looked like a bone.
However, instead of apologizing, the staff allegedly gave a highly casual and arrogant excuse, stating: "There is no such restaurant where veg and non-veg food do not mix; all hotels operate like this."
The management reportedly tried to hush up the matter by offering to waive the ₹2,022 bill and providing free takeaway parcels, which the customer rightfully rejected. Citizens are now demanding strict intervention from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) against such blatant operational negligence and apathy toward consumers' dietary rights.

He is one of the richest people in India — Anand Deshpande. He recently entered the list of billionaires with billion-dollar wealth. He is the founder of Persistent, a multinational software company. The company, which has 53 offices across 18 countries, recently did a ‘Griha Pravesh’ / housewarming at yet another new location.
When you hear “software company”, what comes to mind is usually ‘Western culture’. But Persistent is an exception. See this photo. They entered the new place by performing a Satyanarayan Puja in the traditional Indian/Hindu way. In this company, holidays are given only for Indian festivals — meaning Hindu festivals, and specifically Marathi ones. So the New Year holiday isn’t on 1st January, but definitely on ‘Gudi Padwa’. No holiday for Christmas, but there _is_ a holiday on both days of Ganesh Murti Sthapana and Visarjan.
In Hinjewadi, Pune, the office has 4 towers named after Rigveda, Samaveda, Yajurveda, and Atharvaveda. The 2 towers of the office near Nal Stop are named after ancient Indian scientists Pingala and Aryabhata. The office building on Senapati Bapat Road is named Bhagirath. And inside the buildings, references from the Vedas are displayed on the walls at various places.
Just saying “Hindu culture is great” doesn’t achieve anything. To uphold its greatness, you have to send that message through action — and this company has done that, time and again. I’ve experienced the work culture here closely (I worked there for 2.5 years). Let me tell you a small thing: even though it’s an IT company, the women members here celebrate traditional customs like ‘Haldi-Kumkum’ with great joy. Even Satyanarayan Puja is performed properly. And despite all this, Persistent stands at a completely different peak in the IT sector. Last quarter, revenue was a whopping ₹1,491 crore.
The people working here aren’t called ‘employees’ but ‘members’ of the Persistent family. With over 15,000 members worldwide, this company’s turnover runs into hundreds of crores. We know Ratan Tata for “simple living, high thinking” — but Marathi Anand Deshpande Sir is an equally inspiring personality. (By Deviprasad, an ex- employee of Persistent)
