@meganeura_AI@SergioB_@animetrends The manga sold extremely well in Mexico and other latin american countries, so yes, there definitely is money to make if your “authors” make the effort, but it isn’t out problem that they couldn’t care less about you or their consumer base. Pathetic.
@meganeura_AI@SergioB_@animetrends Many latin american countries loved this manga so much that thanks to them the anime became a reality. So the culture you say is “premature” gave the opportunity to one of your authors to launch their anime. So tell me, whose story is more far-fetched now?
@meganeura_AI@SergioB_@animetrends Didn’t the United States just have to pay a bailout to Japan because the Yen was falling super fast? Lmao, y’all are becoming a failure and can’t even admit it
@meganeura_AI@SergioB_@animetrends You got to understand that Japan cannot isolate themselves from occident any longer. Either you guys adapt or the Yen is going to fall even more than it already has. Your economy will keep falling with that ideology.
@meganeura_AI@SergioB_@animetrends Then either the author sells the rights of their manga to be distributed by an international company like crunchyroll, or they themselves look for a way to distribute it. Business is a matter of risk and reward.
@Mk25613@ununsouda@p9cker_girl That is why many of the anime piracy sites are in spanish. Many people can’t afford that membership. I’m living in the US and I do not know a single person that likes anime that does not pay Crunchyroll.
@Mk25613@ununsouda@p9cker_girl Yes, but that would go to the other topic. Can people afford it? For example, I am from Colombia (not currently living there) and affording a Crunchyroll membership has to be a financial conscious decision. So it can be a way for people who cannot afford it to access that content
@meganeura_AI@SergioB_@animetrends But if they are just going to abide by whatever the publisher says even if that involves anti-consumer practices. I’m sorry but I cannot support what they do. Authors should be all for their readers and that involves international ones as well.
@meganeura_AI@SergioB_@animetrends The thing is, the author is working with the company. I cannot help the author when I am against their editor policies. If they are looking for better working conditions, better salary, and fights for their readers, I’m going to 100% support them 1/2
@meganeura_AI@SergioB_@animetrends As I said, it is not about the authors, it is about companies providing a good service for what they’re charging. If the service isn’t there, the money is not gonna be there either. Do you like to pay for shitty services and reward shareholders for a horrible service? Well I dont
@meganeura_AI@SergioB_@animetrends Who’s saying otherwise? Piracy isn’t meant to be against the author, its meant to be against the status quo stablished by greedy companies that charge more and more without offering a good service.
@meganeura_AI@SergioB_@animetrends Not all manga is in crunchyroll because of the same problem we are discussing about lmao. If the manga is available to read in Crunchyroll, people will pay and read it there, but if it isn’t, they will resort to piracy.
@Romuska_ Are you stupid? The companies take the risk and then bag the profits if their ideas go well. Do you even know about business or are you just dense?
