Congress ruled around 30 years, CPIM ruled 34 years, and TMC ruled around 15 years — total nearly 79 years in West Bengal.

Simple Questions:

1. Why are so many footpaths occupied by hawkers and large slum clusters? Why was not proper urban planning, law enforcement, and rehabilitation implemented over decades?

2. Why are people still living beside or on railway platform areas in extremely dangerous conditions where accidents can happen anytime? Why was not proper rehabilitation, housing, and law enforcement ensured?

3. Why are many areas under flyovers occupied and converted into slum settlements? Why was this not properly managed by the authorities?

4. Why was the Indo-Bangladesh border not fully fenced and secured over decades? Why welcoming illegal immigration to continue despite govts ruling for nearly 79 years?

5. Why does Kolkata, despite being called the “City of Joy” and having such rich historical heritage, still struggle with decaying infrastructure, congestion, unemployment, and industrial decline? Why did so many industries leave West Bengal over the years?
