This child was groomed aged 12.
In November 2004 (aged 14–15) she was taken to a hotel room, plied with alcohol, and raped during an “Eid party.”
When the gang had finished, they threw curry powder over the girl and left.
The police managed to bring a charge against just one of the gang, even though there was CCTV evidence of the gang escorting the child in to the hotel.
But just one day before the trial was due to start, the CPS dropped the case.
The Muslim London transport bombing had taken place 3 months before the trial date and anti Muslim hate was on the rise.
I accuse the Blair government of dropping the trial for political reasons.
This family are still fighting for justice, please sign their petition now.

Why not do it now? Write 10 things you want changed. 1 all police involved that night suspended until the IOPC inquest. The inquest published - I think the police and Labour haven’t led anything constructive - we need to write a plan to push for positive change so it doesn’t happen again.
@Lewis_Brackpool Great work - full transparency for policing practices - let us know and publish here. I’m sure policing trainers were uncomfortable with the over zealous bias with different races.
@jacobreynolds@Nigel_Farage Pure COLD rage - what do you mean Nigel? Cancel our council tax direct debits en mass all on the same day unless Starmer resigns pure cold rage?
Or did you have something else in mind?
Either the training and policies are wrong or the officers didn’t follow the procedures. There is COWS: casualty, obstruction and then witness for car accidents. Assume Nothing, Believe No one C etc
There would have been a priority and a best practice - so is what they did first was to focus far too much on racism - if so there will be other cases; mimicking the party line in how they prioritise in incidents Or they are poor officers with no common sense and compassion.
@britmatters What about the second 999 call from the women neighbour reporting a stabbing? If this is an error please correct and clarify there was no other 999 calls. If it was please publish with the time of call.
It is expected, I think both the majority of the public and police are in total agreement racism DEI has gone too far. Death of an innocent is the result - the riots have been amplified by the poor communications of the police and inaction. I think the officers need to be suspended pending the inquiry as a bare minimum. Most bystanders can deliver first aid to a casualty - did you hear the crowd in agreement? They would have helped Henry. The officers did not.
When you have thousands of people turning up at Southampton police station as a grass roots movement and don’t address that ‘collective voice of the public’, of course they won’t go home, they seek clarity and answers from leadership -
1 Acknowledging the mistake
2 Commitment to do better
3 A plan to initiate change
A senior officer needs to deliver a speech covering the action points and deliver it in Southampton tomorrow.
Otherwise the riots will continue televised or not.
@HantsPolice It’s June - Henry Nowak’s murder was 6 months ago. I’ve seen police officers summarise the main 10 points of failure in PACE and policing for officers at the scene. What is taking so long to do an inquest? It’s one horrific night. This isn’t a complex case.
Any push in this is at the expense of girls - with what has been happening with the grooming gangs, have they not suffered enough? Have you not observed the fear in girls eyes when a trans woman enters a womens loo? We all do a double take - the space is now a danger to girls and women.
Think about the risk to survivors of sexual abuse, what they go through to have single sex spaces invaded. It wasn’t like this 10 years ago.
It is a sick and twisted cult for bending over backwards for a man’s want at the expense over a girl’s need for safety.
Acceptance - for example you are bullied for having some traits that people can never attain.
Give service to a higher purpose. Interestingly ex military make poor business people as once you do something just for money rather than a cause it has less meaning.
When you look back on your life - did you live with joy? And did you give joy to others?
So this week I'm campaigning on the joy of having the safety of women only spaces; young, white men that can walk home safely at night without being murdered, police equality and accountability, and girls that deserve justice for violent gang rapes, regardless that they are teens.
Reframe your acts as the benefits to others.
Usually I quit my job when I have weeks of misery from management. I think Elon's issue is he can't quit any of his responsibilities - I change my job and overnight my happiness flips to joy instantly. Also taking a trip, planning, anticipation, meeting new people and seeing beautiful places makes me focused on a better time in future.
I think Elon has internal depression that comes from knowing to much coupled with the power to do great things but there is a limit to how much you can help people. Great power comes with great responsibility.
I think suffering it from myself in mid-life it is autistic burn out. Masking too long, being with people that drain you, impossible deadlines and stress all take their toll.
Visit your doctor. I would check bloodwork for deficiencies in the first instance. If you aren't taking 4000 IU of vitamin D daily then it could be this as its vary common.
Personally I find comedians help elevate mood.
Keep a folder of compliments and read through them when you are feeling low. You make me feel less lonely as I have someone else fighting the good fight on another continent who I will never meet but it has had a great impact on not feeling sad and alone.
@CF_Farrow FYI the stores in the Middle East have single sex changing and they are designed so that men don’t walk anywhere near the female changing rooms - they are tucked deep in the store to prevent perverts for calming to be lost.
@marksandspencer have a two tier policy.
Or aliens existed here before us …. These questions don’t include the more likely possibility that they were here first seeded the planet and now are just watching us. I did hear a theory that some aliens are gardeners - visit a planet - set up the garden with animals and plants and then leave to start a new garden on another planet never to return.
I follow lots of people on Insta that help overcome PTSD. I wish I had such resources when I was a teen; I didn’t realise how bad it was then, I had no one. I have a dog now and also my own home so I don’t have to suffer living with people that destroy your spirit.
Unfortunately ‘home’ growing up I met my first and unkindest bully.
FYI @marksandspencer in the Middle East are designed to have women’s changing rooms so far separately from men that men cannot accidentally wander into the women’s. Why the double standard?
Over there they are designed to protect women and children from sexual assault, flashing and peeping toms. 70% of your core market are women and many are shopping for underwear. We also haven’t forgotten of the trans assistant fitting a 14 year old girl for bra fitting.
This is affecting goodwill, sales and share prices.
