NYT: nothing. WSJ: nothing. The Atlantic: nothing. CNN: nothing. MSNBC: nothing.
A $2 billion, 40-year Massachusetts courthouse lease goes to a congresswoman's husband who did 10 years in federal prison for drug trafficking and just weeks ago an 18-year-old was shot dead in the head in a house he owns, and the homicide still has no arrests...
The entire national press has nothing to say.
If this were a Republican, it would be wall-to-wall coverage every single day until the midterms.
@boston_sense@maura_healey@mikeminoguema Genuine question - didn’t early voting seem to hurt Spencer Pratt? I was following that race from MA bc I liked his campaign approach and plus it’s feeling very CA here to me lately. it seemed off the amount of votes Ramen got unexpectedly to win
@boston_sense I’m a moderare that didn’t vote for Trump and have been assumed on this platform may times of being a Trump supporter bc I support Minogue. It’s crazy that everything always becomes a conversation about Trump.
Maura’s entire campaign.
1. Minogue supports Trump.
He’s been very clear where he disagrees with Trump. At least he’ll go to DC, make a case for MA funding instead of 50+ law suits, per @BostonGlobe.
2. Minogue is anti-abortion.
No MA R governor has the ability to eliminate abortion rights in MA. We have Dem super majority state leg.
And a state full of moderates that want a new gov focused on our 20 bigger (winnable) priorities. I’d be satisfied if we just stopped promoting MA as abortion & child gender affirmation care destination. Focus on promoting the Freedom Trail.
PS. Maura ads saying she’ll fight for abortion rights in MA is like The Office episode where Michael Scott passionately does his “Run for a Cure” fundraiser to find a cure for rabies. (Something long ago resolved. 🤦♂️)
3. Minogue is wealthy.
I love it. Run the state like a business. And he won’t be a scumbag using his office to gain wealth. Not taking a salary either.
Any other questions?

@CallerAngry@boston_sense I’m from NY. I moved here in 2015. So I was not around during Romney or Weld. For me personally, MA is pretty awful right now. And I’m voting for change because of that. I agree to disagree and appreciate the chat. ✌️
@CallerAngry@boston_sense And cheating is gross. But I was born in 1980 and unfortunately believe that most if not all male presidents I can remember cheat on their wives. Or use thier power to do something else gross. Should I just not vote?
@CallerAngry@boston_sense True! So many of his friends are pissed but think there’s no point to voting. I’m doing my part with his friends - but 18-25 are all on Tik tok constantly. Totally underused media. Candidates need to get on it! They all know who Spencer Pratt is and didnt know Minogue 😩 in MA!
@CallerAngry@boston_sense My 18 yr old hasn’t be polled. He’s not even a republican and voting R. He’s basically a Kennedy Democrat and doesn’t want to vote for socialists.
Hey MA kids age 18-30.
The joke will be on those who oppress your opinions if you vote for MA moderates up & down the ballot. Powerful & anonymous.
More of you quietly shifting to moderate (right-of-center) stances on many issues.
You have sane positions on illegal immigration, men in women’s sports, gender & race obsessions of Democrats, law & order, DEI.
Why? You’re way better informed on reality than older gens stuck on legacy media.
But in MA, tough to express even rational opinions without repercussions, maybe career impacts. Sad, really.
Now is your time. You can help shift MA back to sanity if you vote for moderates.
Simple: It’s the Republican candidate in every race. In MA, Republicans are moderate. Nobody close to far right here.
Find your polling location here. Check with your local town hall about early voting if inclined.

@MassGovernor This was @mikeminoguema Mike Minogue’s idea. Check out his website https://t.co/XvjDQX8s4f and take more of his ideas! They’re all pretty good!
Stay out. Assessment denied.
Maura Healey just told the whole state of Massachusetts where I live that when you have a baby, “you’re going to have a home visit” so a government-appointed healthcare provider can “make an assessment.” Not “we’re offering a free nurse if you want one.” You’re going to have one. That’s the tell. They can stamp “voluntary” on the Welcome Family flyer all day. The governor’s own mouth said the quiet part: everybody, home visit, assessment. Official pages even list “ensuring that your home is safe” as part of the visit. That’s not a lactation consult. That’s a state employee walking through your kitchen, looking at your setup, asking how you’re sleeping, whether you’re depressed, and whether your house meets their standard- then calling back two or three weeks later to check that you used the “resources.”
Massachusetts will fund the killing of a baby right up until birth and then, 24 hours later, send a nurse to inspect the ones that made it. Make that make sense. They don’t trust you to raise your own child without a government clipboard in your living room.
This is not “support.” This is an invitation that will age into expectation, then data collection, then a paper trail that can be used against you. Once a state worker is inside your house “assessing” you, the next step is always easier. DCF doesn’t need a warrant if you already let them in.
Do not comply. Do not open the door. Do not let them “assess” your home, your mental state, or your parenting. A free nurse is still a state agent. Offer or not, the answer is no. Your house is not a wellness checkpoint. Your baby is not a state project. Stay the hell out of our homes.
Ed Markey - agree to the 4 televised debates that have been requested. Or, are you too scared to go up against someone who you can’t hang Trump on?
