Her husband had his portrait painted by Reynolds at the same time in matching blue hues, now in a private collection. They both have that typical silvery kind of light in Reynolds work in late 1750s onwards.

Today is the 300th anniversary of the birth of Sir Joshua Reynolds. This painting of Maria Gunning, Croome's 6th Countess of Coventry, was painted by Reynolds somewhere between 1753 and 1760.

Today we took HUE 166, the very first #LandRover, to a special place in its history.
This ford on the Packington Estate was where the pre-production Land Rovers were tested from 1948, including HUE!
