The older you get, the more you figure out who your real friends are. It's not always about who has known you the longest, it's about who makes you feel seen, heard, understood, appreciated, supported and loved.
human enough to admit some people didn't get the greatest version of me.. some people got the chaotic, broken, mad versions of me. some people got the sad, insecure, bitter version of me, but there's so much more to me. i hope the better version of me gets the same coverage.

Tbh, romantic shit in the beginning doesn’t spark my interest. It’s after months go by, and on occasion, you still think to do something thoughtful. Consistency.

i don’t agree with the whole “ I’m giving people the same energy they give me “. I think you should give people your pure, truest energy, the realest version of you, and if they don’t appreciate you then you can walk away. why would you lower yourself just because they are low
