Section 8 housing,
a welcoming center for new arrivals, just some ideas from a Dem politician in Arlington Heights!
Problem is the @ChicagoBears still own the land but there’s always eminent domain.
We’ll discuss Monday 11amCT-Noon @AM560TheAnswer@JeanneIves
State Sen. Mark Walker, D-Arlington Heights, floated “welcoming centers for new arrivals” as one possible future use for Arlington Park if the Bears don't end up building a stadium there.
Please join us this FRIDAY as we raise money for fallen @Chicago_Police officer’s family, John Bartholomew.
50 dollars at the door gets you unlimited drinks, appetizers and live music.

There were no teen, mob actions last Friday or Saturday because @ChiPubSchools had graduations on both nights and so did several suburban schools.

WATCH: Illinois comptroller and potential Chicago mayoral candidate Susana Mendoza references Washington D.C.’s response to ‘teen takeovers’ in an interview this morning.
“I don’t know if you’ve seen what Washington D.C. is doing with Mayor Bowser out there…she has a targeted and extended curfew zone…I think we should be learning from what other cities have already had to deal with.”
Nice try Stacy but criticism of your joining the mayor on his trip to Rome was not related to race. It had everything to do with your open hostility toward poor families receiving public support to attend parochial schools.
Under your leadership, CTU pressured “Captain Courageous”—Governor Pritzker and the Illinois General Assembly—to end the Invest in Kids scholarship program, which benefited more than 15,000 low-income families.
During COVID, you and CTU leadership unsuccessfully pressured the General Assembly to prevent Catholic schools from resuming in-person learning while city public schools remained shuttered for 78 weeks.
You are leading the effort to lobby Gov. Pritzker to opt out of the federal scholarship program, which would provide hundreds of millions of dollars in educational assistance and tuition support to lower-income families whose children attend private schools.
Did the Pope know that Mayor Johnson’s entourage included individuals—including the mayor himself—who have been hostile to supporting poor Black families seeking to send their children to parochial schools?
For example, your efforts stripped 175 scholarships from Hope Academy’s 300 high school students on Chicago’s West Side. You and the mayor should have asked the Pope for absolution!
But she sends her son to a Catholic School!
Our city is broke, pensions unpaid and I bet this is costing us taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars.
We’ll discuss 11am @AM560TheAnswer@DanProft@JeanneIves@ChicagoContrar1
.@AmyJacobson and @JeanneIves welcomed Dan DeLeon, national golf representative for the @Tunnel2Towers Foundation, to discuss the organization’s vital mission and the upcoming @AM560TheAnswer Golf Outing on June 15th. To purchase tickets, visit https://t.co/RyWOCWy4we.
You have to love JB Pritzker moaning about the incompetent Mayor Brandon Johnson as they both play the “who lost the Bears” game. Johnson will eventually try to blame it on race, while Pritzker will no doubt find a way to blame it on Trump.
Just a reminder…
Pritzker is largely responsible for Johnson becoming mayor and for providing Johnson’s former employer and current puppet master, Stacy Davis Gates, the power to hold the city and its elected officials hostage by authorizing the CTU to strike for virtually any reason.
WATCH: Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker heavily criticizes Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson’s team this morning for their handling of the Chicago Bears deal and lobbying state government in general.
“I know that the mayor has no plan. He has come up with no plan at all about how the Bears would end up in the city of Chicago. So that’s problematic. I’d love them to be in the city but we are three years in now and he still has no plan.”
“The mayor has shown up every spring at the end of session to pronounce what he would like to see happen. As you know the budget gets put together starting in November…I present that budget to the legislature in February. So that seems like a good time period to come talk to the governor’s office. Then there’s February to May. There’s all that time to come talk to the legislature, which has my budget in hand, or the governor’s office.”
“Again, we’ve seen almost nothing out of the mayoral administration here on that subject or really any other. So to show up in May and have a bunch of demands seems like late in the game. And it’s unfortunate that’s happened most years.”
Johnson’s chief of external affairs is Kennedy Bartley, who formerly worked as a Chicago Teachers Union-funded organizer for police and prison abolition. The mayor’s former top lobbyist, Sydney Holman, resigned in 2024 after Johnson elevated Bartley to oversee the mayor’s office of intergovernmental affairs.
Is accountability finally coming to Illinois?
@JeanneIves is banking on it. 🙌
Former Rep. Jeanne Ives just filed a bombshell lawsuit against
Governor Pritzker and Illinois election officials.
She argues the congressional district map was deliberately drawn using race as the main factor and violates the Constitution after the Supreme Court’s recent redistricting ruling.
Will this finally end race-based gerrymandering in Illinois?
J.B. Pritzker called Callais an “abomination.”
No wonder. Illinois built one of the clearest race-based redistricting regimes in the country.
Just filed: the first major post-Callais lawsuit—and Illinois is the target. Time to enforce Callais nationwide.
"My child should have been safe in any city in this country, and she wasn’t. I blame Chicago, I do. This was not a Loyola problem, this was a Chicago problem—and she would be here. This was preventable. They had several opportunities to cooperate with ICE, and they didn't."
I watched all of her 4 interviews at length.
On @fox32news she admitted she drank at BRUNCH.
Day drinking sometimes leads into night drinking. She also said she made a mistake by hitting 2 parked cars.
@AM560TheAnswer@JeanneIves
I would close Forest View HS until that gun is found.
This is a very serious situation.
Some kid probably took the gun out of the toilet stall.
An uncontrolled gun in the hands of a kid?
@AM560TheAnswer@JeanneIves
Arlington Heights PD says a service weapon is missing after a SRO at Forest View Educational Center removed his gun from the holster to use the restroom, walked away, and could not find it when he went back. They’re calling it “an unfortunate and embarrassing incident.” @WGNNews
If I owned a business this “try hard skit,” by @ChicagosMayor would drive me away from Chicago.
Hasan also said “America deserved 911.”
We’ll discuss 11amCT-noon. @AM560TheAnswer@JeanneIves
So predictable from @ChicagosMayor.
One day after kicking off Jewish Heritage Month, Johnson posts a video of himself with notoriously vile anti-Semite, Hasan Piker.
Piker is to the Left what Nick Fuentes is to the Right.
We condemn Fuentes.
Why is Johnson wrapping his arms around a bigot?
