Can we all agree that #carework is NOT low skill work? it’s under paid, under valued and under respected. Care workers care for our parents, our siblings our children. Does this require zero skills? I sincerely think not. It’s hard thankless work. Shame on this policy.

Labelling care work as “low-skilled” says it all. Would love to see any of them do one days care work, witnessing death, dealing with dementia, challenging behaviour, spotting signs of illnesses nurses don’t notice!! They wouldn’t last a full day.
