☘️Annual appreciation post for @TommySmythESPN and @IrelandCalls for reading my great grandfather, Patrick McDonough’s poem, “The Sixty-Ninth Goes By” at the New York St. Patrick’s Day Parade yesterday. ☘️ Thank you, Tommy and Treasa! ☘️
@ryanfagan Ryan, I’m so sorry to hear. I know it’s been a while but you were always so lovely to work with and I’m so glad our paths crossed over your NYT Turkey Bowl article way back when. Hang in there —
@amyhphillips@pitchfork As a fellow Amy Phillips, I have always considered you my (much cooler) namesake and have enjoyed reading your Pitchfork takes. And I also lost my job recently. Hang in there. We will both get through this. You can’t keep an Amy Phillips down. ❤️

Tonight, as I sit in London, friends & colleagues are gathering to honor this guy and his incredible run at ESPN. I am just gutted not to be among them. Cheers to @espn_chris, one of the best and kindest leaders I’ve ever worked for - I know good things await you in retirement!
Congrats to @birbigs on another fantastic show… I have seen them all, beginning with Sleepwalk with Me at Bleecker Street Theater in 2008. Fun to catch him in London all these years later.
I was one of the Worcester reps in the audience, @birbigs - wicked awesome show. 😉
@TBoneGallagher @AmyHolland__ This is mine ❤️.
Also this exhibit was amazing (it’s gone now but the write up gives you the gist…

@TBoneGallagher @AmyHolland__ I don’t collect (flat is too small for collections!) but I do use it and I love it. I use it mostly for notes and letters…and the novelty of the typewritten note is always well received.
