Hearty Hike 2025 https://t.co/ffIXqrmhYp. I’m taking part in a charity walk up Slieve Donard to raise vital funds for a N.I children’s charity supporting kids with heart disease.
If you’d like to join me on the walk or sponsor a few pounds, I’d be so grateful! 💙@QUBSONM
What an amazing day out at Let’s Go Hydro with fellow student nurses from QUB! 🌊💙 A well-deserved break filled with laughs, teamwork, and a few epic wipeouts 🤪 Grateful for the memories and the sunshine! #QUBNursing#StudentNurseLife#LetsGoHydro#WellbeingMatters@QUBSONM 😁
Student nurses are set to receive dedicated training on domestic abuse and violence against women and girls as part of ‘The Unlock Safety Initiative’ which has been developed in partnership with @theRCN, @WomensAidNI, @QUBelfast School of Nursing & Midwifery and @ExecOfficeNI Ending Violence Against Women & Girls Regional Change Fund. The First Minister and deputy First Minister said they were delighted to support the training for frontline healthcare workers, enabling them to recognise abuse and take action to ensure victims get the help they need.
Nicola Ranger delivered a powerful speech on the future of nursing, student nurses, and our pay! An inspiring call to action on corridor care and safe staffing levels. The message is clear: we need change, and we need it now. #SafeStaffing#CorridorCare#FutureOfNursing

🎉 Last day with amazing Year 1 AD4! 🩺💙 Proud of you all—1/3 nurses already! You've laughed, learned, and (almost) mastered the blood pressure cuff 😄. Bring it on summatives we are ready! 🧠💪. All the best 🙌
I am so privileged to be able to use my voice to represent rural communities!! I had the opportunity on Friday to speak on behalf of @QUBSONM Rural Health Committee about who we are and what we do to the amazing students and staff of @QUBelfast at @QUBSONM celebration event!!
It has been a busy few months working hard behind the scenes. I’m incredibly proud to be part of this initiative to co-design “Inhale the Truth” a game designed to raise awareness about smoking and vaping.
Huge thanks to Mike Nesbitt for taking the time to support our launch on National No Smoking Day! If we can share this information and have that conversation, maybe it can change a life!
My Year 3 experience in QUB nursing school just gets better and better ❤️.

✨️A significant number of people living with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) live in care homes
✨️PD education for care home staff is a neglected area of research
✨️When education or training programmes on PD are provided to care home staff, the limited literature suggests they are successful in improving staff knowledge, staff confidence, and quality of care
✨️Future research should focus upon the design, implementation, and evaluation of robust, evidence-based, tailored educational programmes on PD for care home staff
