@KarenGeorgeBSRN@DerrickEvans4WV It took a yr for my loved one to get to his home unit after a yr which he might have got lost in the system. He got moved all over. Catching chain sucks!
@KarenGeorgeBSRN@DerrickEvans4WV Just trying to clarify, are you saying yes or no to this attire in Texas? I go regularly as well and I have not seen this anywhere in Texas, but not saying it doesn’t exist. Just talking by experience.
@LL_Kemistry@DerrickEvans4WV They move people based on room and there are so many other units in Texas. According to this Byrd has the job above. If he is getting processed somewhere else, he prolly won’t take this prison. Different prisons do different things.
@Ellen_Savage1@PhilHollowayEsq They can be working on the intake process which is a process to get them set in the system. Depending on his classification they put him at will determine where he does. He can transfer a few times before he gets to his home unit.
@FideCounsel@PhilHollowayEsq They do that before they leave county to go to TDCJ. Those aren’t the uniforms I have seen them wear tho, so not sure on that one.
@Stackz2u_@JuvyWicks Honestly, he will probably join a gang, as many do especially with that sentence and he’s young (4 protection), plus the older inmates do protect the new ones if they act right.
@Chill_itsJustJ@JuvyWicks There are different intake units everywhere. Different units do different jobs but yes, usually it takes 45 days to move from county to TDCJ. Special case I guess. Maybe because of the high profile?
