How is it that 18 months after my first, and only, ever lecturing role (in a field I don't work or study in, with 0XP) I am still getting (now graduate) students approach me and say I was the best lecturer they ever had?

@samclifford hmm yeah I guess you have a point. The enthusiasm is much more effort than I'd like to admit sometimes haha
Still, the BEST??? In a whole degree?? Surely not... I'm still baffled.

@samclifford I updated a bit of the material(s), and added in a lecture that contained some pretty hard content (my favourite week tbh). I also responded to emails, and took a few tutorials so I could actually interact with students... there were like 700 of them so it was fairly daunting hah

@samclifford I don't mean to undersell, I'm a great teacher but I had no experience in the lecture format, and I was admittedly taking on a bunch of UC tasks as well, all new to me. I just mean, others had been lecturing for years, and I feel like I did the bare minimum to get a feel for it
