This trip was NEVER the plan. 😭 I’d recently taken leave to see Faye in Milan, so I’d bought my tickets to livestream both birthdays. Then Faye’s tickets went on sale and the FOMO hit HARD. I’m a ‘92 baby, I LOVED Faye’s 90s theme and everything leading up to it, and I hadn’t been back to Thailand in 4 years. So naturally, I booked EVERYTHING. YOLO. 😂🇹🇭

On Monday, I told work I was burnt out and needed a break the following week. Now my flights are delayed, I’m having to lie to work AGAIN, and I’m still 7 hours from London. 💀😂 But honestly? My heart is SO full.

What a week. Khanthong, buying a wardrobe full of Millionsmax, getting my Madam Fin perfume finally, and seeing Atom for the first time. But one of the biggest highlights was witnessing just how successful Faye has become. A self-made millionaire, FOR REAL. 🥹❤️ Watching her build her career and seeing the respect, love and success she’s earned has been something special. She deserves every bit of it.

I came on an impulsive decision and left with memories I’ll treasure for years. Somewhere along the way, I remembered what it feels like to do something spontaneous, be a little irresponsible and just LIVE.

Faye, Atom and BKK, you have my heart. See you next year. ❤️🇹🇭

One last post before I board my flights home. This one is special to me. 🥹❤️

Faye is such a gem. We all love her, but I think we each have parts of her that we connect with a little more deeply. For me, it’s her connection to and love for music.

I work long hours, often under a lot of stress, and through both my hardest and happiest moments, music has always been there. It holds memories, carries feelings and crosses every language barrier. I listen to pretty much anything, in any language.

And thanks to Faye, I’ve fallen in love with Thai country music. Yes, I genuinely sit and listen to luk thung compilations now. 😂 Whenever Faye sings at a concert or on TikTok, there I am with Shazam open, desperately trying to identify every song. Do people still use Shazam, or is that just me? 😭

When Faye sang this song, Kawinton, Wee and the venue security were standing right behind me, I just started crying. I had to pull tissues out of my bag. I didn’t even know the meaning behind the lyrics in that moment. I was simply connecting with Faye as a performer and with the music itself.

And that’s what makes music so special. Sometimes you don’t need to understand the words to feel everything.

Just thinking about that moment brings me to tears all over again. 🥹❤️

@malisorn00, I hope you know how special it is to watch someone who doesn’t just sing a song but makes you feel it. The way you connect with music, the emotion you pour into your performances and the way you invite us into those moments are such a gift.
