@piedparks It’s fine to not know certain things. It can always be a learning opportunity. I myself completely miss somethings but I can always rediscover it. Feel like that’s how we should operate rather going the snarky route every time
@piedparks I think people keep going the wrong way about stuff. On one hand, it’s fine if u don’t like hiphop (black music) but know and respect that bts is inspired and molded by it. That’s just basic.
But also people should stop going in a condescending way when others don’t recognise it.
@RKIVESH0PEWRLD Tannies’ inspiration and can’t even name a few that’s a problem. For me Nas is embedded in my head cause namjoon never fails to name him as his idol.
@RKIVESH0PEWRLD I understand this sentiment towards American army’s cause hip hop is black American music, the rest of us mostly got introduced through bts. Other Army’s will hear the informantion and go Ah I see and move on. It’s really not that deep. BUT I agree if an army doesn’t know the —
@yor_eyes_tell True. And I feel like it should be seen as a disrespect if people aren’t being purposefully disrespectful. I know some of the names they continuously mention, and that’s cause it’s easier to remember, I don’t even know the Korean side of their inspirations except for epikhigh
@wintertaeta2@Maya310108@_E168_@jmnophile07 You’re not wrong but it should be THE VICTIMS who gets to make that joke. Which he’s not, he’s basically punching down trying to be funny. It just wasn’t his joke to make especially when he’s a whole asṣ man
@gol3naotc Exo back then was the epitome of “idol” curated to the bone for marketing reasons, perfect songs, faces, choreos, dynamics— a tip-top, unreachable idol status. That’s why when that image created is slightly even smudged they couldn’t recover it.
@gol3naotc BTS’s success, they truly have it in their heads that exo was SUPPOSED to have all this glory and BTS somehow stole it or something. Truly weird affff.
BTS is where they are right now cause people back then identified with them, that they decided to propel these passionate youths
@storyof7in1bts@btschartsxdaily They’re after but I’m on your side here. Mf is weird as hell, not even low-key, best we can do is not acknowledge his presence anywhere. That’s as far as our respect as a producer who worked with bts should go me thinks👀
@btsforeevverr Right like I don’t know if it’s cause I’m from the northeast but I don’t get why it would be necessary to sing this to them at their concert?? Am I missing something….?
We could just do the one thing that brought us together there in the first place and sing a bts song.
