This picture may not look like much, but another 10 meters closer and I wouldn’t be here.

You see, the PG-7 (think RPG from movies) has a self destruct feature after 4-6 seconds or about 900 meters. I was driving during a firefight when one self destructed right next to us. It sent some nasty frag into the window.

It wasn’t until later that I realized if the shooter had been standing just 10m closer the round would have gone right through the truck and into the back of my helmet.
