@realJennaEllis This book is quite informative also about the origins of Calvinism, and how no believer espoused these ideas the first 300 years of the early church.
@_Truthpaste_ Jesus was from the line of David.
Have you ever read Heb 8 or the end of Dan 7?
Have you ever read Jesus saying his kingdom comes without observation; it’s a spiritual kingdom?
Where is a 1,000 year reign on earth? Oh, in Rev. 20 -a book full of cipher and symbols to 7 churches
@Biblethumpingwi Paul was quoting Hosea & was talking about bringing the Gentiles into the covenant. They knew covenantal judgment was coming on Israel.
The old covenant was ending, Jesus inherited all nations, & God’s kingdom was being installed on earth (a spiritual kingdom).
Temple is gone!
@smithwriting ❤️ I got to spend some time his family one weekend on his farm.
It’s a special place.
He spoke a few times at the Virginia homeschool convention. I have some very good notes from one of his lessons somewhere in my house. It was more like a sermon, and it was phenomenal.
@GenFlynn My 23 year old son is working two jobs & going to school & still mowing the grass & attending church faithfully.
Same with my 19 year old son.
He cooked dinner for the family last week every night while I was out-of-town.
Their friends are the same, & they know all the lies.
@CherylSchatz These “pastors” ego gets attached to doctrines they teach.
They can’t even consider that they could be wrong.
It would be too embarrassing for them.
@sola_chad The kingdom of God Jesus came to establish was giving access to the Father to the entire world.
Heaven came down just like in the Lord’s Prayer.
Stop spending your time shutting the door to the kingdom of heaven to your fellow man.
@DineshDSouza Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin…
— James 1:13-15
@JoshuaBarzon Oh, I forgot. If you don’t believe in Jesus God is going to barbecue your soul for all eternity.
The concept of hell was added to the Bible for the words, Sheol/Hades, Gehenna, and Tartarus.
@DineshDSouza Remember in the OT, Israel was the elect/chosen nation that was supposed to represent God to the nations. That did not make people individually righteous before God. That was based on their heart and works.
@mattvanswol There was a mass-mind control programming by the “celebrity pastors” unsuspecting people propped up the last 2 decades.
They taught if you cared about ANYTHING, another Christian stares at you with disgust and just says a magic word-GOSPEL.
Does that help spread the gospel?
@SuitSheep Read the first few chapters of the First Book of Adam and Eve. It’s not in the canon, but it gives an insight to what they thought was the Word of God. It’s quite a beautiful story - very insightful and thought-provoking
@DineshDSouza Gen 6 Angels & men rebel = flood
Babel - God disinherited the nations (Deut. 32:8-9)
Israel breaks covenant with God = covenantal judgment in 70AD = temple destroyed; power of holy people shattered Dan. 12
Jesus killed, resurrects, ascends, inherits all the nations
Ps. 2, 82
