A big thank you to the Windsor PTA for their care of the Staff during Conference Days. Hot/cold drinks, snacks, and meals keep us going. Your creative selection is delightful! Thank you! @Windsor_PTA @d25itspersonal
5yo is messing with the closed caption and various audio description and dubbing options on Netflix. She's getting frustrated so I ask what she's trying to do. She wants to turn off the laugh track.
My last living grandparent died of COVID this weekend. She was 96 & lived a very long life full of love & laughter. It is ok & natural that her earthly life is over. It is NOT ok & NOT natural that the last 2 months of it were spent suffering & confused in isolation.
Hooray for East Aurora sd131. Graduating bilingual/biliterate students. Students strive to develop English language skills and continue to study home language and literacy. Some students are picking up multiple languages too. Congrats to the Board which supported this initiative!
I will spend my weekend transforming files filled with pumpkin/spider/Halloween activities into exciting remote interactive activities that will be completed by my Kinders in minutes!😝
@WindsorWildcats#d25itspersonal So proud of my elkinders! They are resilient, persistent and keep trying till they get it done. 100% posted on seesaw with an activity response online OR they drew on paper, snapped a picture and uploaded it. How's THAT for impressive?!
My little Michigan girls are hard at work, and so am I! My EL classroom is ready for another remote learning day. Whether you're here or at home, All are Welcome here! We make it work with fun and movement and patience and practice! #D25EL#windsorwildcats @d25itspersonal

I was working on a recommendation letter for a student today, so I talked to his former teachers. One teacher explained, “He makes the students around him better.”
I can’t imagine a cooler compliment.
Do we elevate those around us? Are others stronger because of our connection?
