😊 I don't cry often, but I was *almost* moved to tears by a former Baraboo High School student's letter recommending me for an "Influential Educator Award" for inspiring her to begin the journey to become a classroom teacher. ☺️
The @theraptorcenter workshop included the basics of first aid care like wrapping injured feet, clipping talons, "coping" (trimming overgrowth on beaks), and separating talons (we practiced on study mounts). What a great experience! #raptorambassadors
I was thrilled to participate in the Care & Management of Captive Raptors workshop put on by @theraptorcenter! I handled a kestrel, owl, red tailed hawk, and bald eagle, plus learned multiple new training techniques. It was a fantastic experience! #raptorambassadors
