1/ Are data centers taking over your community conversations like they are in mine? In Edgecombe County, this topic is everywhere...kitchen tables, county meetings, schools, jobs, farmland, and the future.
4/ I’m focused on three things: (1) what the data center workforce really looks like, (2) what rural communities should ask early about power, water, land use, noise, & long-term impacts, and (3) how we prepare rural students and residents for this industry.
Time is ticking and we have so much to do with our Ag friends. Thanks to @SecRollins for graciously working with our @CPAC Ranchers Coalition and for our off the record strategy session. Big things are happening at USDA. @mercedesschlapp
If you want a quick, plain-English update on what’s developing and why it matters, reach out to Patrick. He’s happy to brief producers, buyers, community leaders, and even the media on what’s coming next.
I am proud of this team & to be married to one of the cowboys doing it
I encourage everyone—food consumers and cattle producers alike—to pay attention to what’s happening behind the scenes with the American beef industry. This is where real progress is being shaped for US ranchers and the families they feed.
You’ll soon be hearing more about terms like “substantial transformation”, "risk-based inspection", and other supply-chain and labeling terms we’ve discussed on our Rural Roots & Cowboy Boots podcast.
Over the past few months, our family has watched Patrick make frequent trips to Washington, DC and grind through late-night work sessions with other dedicated cowboys...pushing for real wins for U.S. ranchers.
I am so proud of these passionate cattle producers from across the country who have invested their time and talents to work with @CoryBooker, @KellyLoffler, @Brookerollins27, and the team at @AmericaFirstPAC to keep American beef on the table for American families.

WE HAVE A SERIOUS WILDFIRE PROBLEM IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA RIGHT NOW AND NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT IT!!!!
- 11 HOMES HAVE BURNED TO THE GROUND
- HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ARE BEING EVACUATED
- FIREFIGHTERS ARE TELLING PEOPLE THEY CAN'T SAVE HOMES UP CURVY ROADS
WE NEED HELP!!!!!
I have some sad news.
This morning, three of the Mountain Mules, who became famous for carrying supplies through the mountain passes of Western North Carolina to Hurricane Helene victims, have tragically passed away.
Rest in Peace: Vader, Amigo, and Kev 💔
I don’t think anyone quite understands how MANY people are living in campers and sheds across Western North Carolina right now.
It is truly mind boggling.
This is footage of an “RV community” that has evolved out of necessity after Hurricane Helene in #WNC.
So hard to watch 💔
I've cried so many times trying to upload this video.
This is an aerial view of what my kids and I drive by on our way to school every single day, in Western North Carolina.
People are carving driveways out of trash, digging homes out from the rubble... IN AMERICA!!!!!!!
